Giants option Bumgarner to Grizzlies
The San Francisco Giants optioned top pitching prospect Madison Bumgarner to he Fresno Grizzlies. Bungarner’s prodigous climb to the Giants clubhouse has finally slowed to an appropriate rate. General Manager Bruce Bochy said that Bumgarner needed to work on controlling the ball, a skill as worthwile as his fastball. More to come.
Update: Lady Dogs fall to Baylor
In the first round of the NCAA Womens Basketball Tournament, Fresno State’s womens basketball team (14th) fell to the Baylor Bears (4th) 69-55. The Lady Dogs failed to make three-pointers, going 10 for 34 overall which was a main attributor to the loss at Berkeley.
