Instead of investing in a scattered plan at improving and rejuvenating Fresno’s downtown, Alex calls for Fresno to develop a city center in North Fresno that models what downtown could have been like.
Styrofoam another evil to Calif. Senate Democrats
California State Sen. Alan Lowenthal is pushing a ban to Styrofoam food containers through the state legislature. If passed, California would become the first state with a statewide ban on the containers.
Outrage: UC system handing out raises
The UC System announced that instructors and other staffers could receive up to 3% raise if they do well on performance evaluations. The raises come at a time when the Regents increased tuition twice, totaling 9.6% hike, for students.
