31 Bloggers: Da Blogs Da Thang
A name like that deserves some recognition. Da Blogs Da Thang (DBDT, not DADT) isn’t your typical blog. It’s filled with the musings of Marcel Nunis, a playwright from Malaysia who has made Fresno his home. Marcel’s work outside of writing plays is pretty well-done. Da Blog recently has focused on holiday-related issues facing a lot of people (like developing New Year Resolutions).
WHAT IS DA BLOGS DA THANG ABOUT?
DBDT focuses readers on wide musings while providing some background on its own author, Marcel, at the same time. With features like Da Count and even Da Chat, Marcel is able to provide opinions on many issues ranging from Facebook etiquette to comic culture. It’s one of the few personable blogs that puts the reader and the writer in a much more personal setting.
WHY FEATURE DA BLOGS DA THANG?
The specialty that DBDT has developed is putting great content first. By providing a new angle on many of the common issues we face in our online capacities, Marcel is able to steer DBDT into different paths while still remaining ambiguous about his next post. No other blog in the 31 Bloggers is able to maintain a personal tone while still being relatively broad (not even the Daily Dues is able to do that!) This gift is solely Marcel’s, and DBDT has shown it very well.
