The Record: Denham assigned to Vet Affairs committee
Congressman-elect Jeff Denham (CA-19) received his third committee assignment in two days. The successor of George Radanovich was placed on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs today.
“As a veteran, I understand the unique challenges our brave men and women face. It is the duty of Congress to fulfill its commitment to our veterans and ensure they have the care promised,” said Denham.
Along with his assignment to the Vets Committee, Denham was assigned to the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
Denham will take office in Washington on January 5, 2011.
